AIS Year 12 students completed their first term of study

Our first cohort of Year 12 students completed their first term of study with us.

This group of 11 young men and women from Zhangjiagang in China are living in very modern Boarding Accommodation supplied by AEG and attend classes each day at AIS. I have been extremely impressed with the way the group has settled into their tasks. The transition to life in Adelaide and at AIS has certainly been made harder in world where COVID-19 seems to be changing the way we approach many things in our lives. It is a credit to the AIS staff that the students are beginning to feel at home and increasingly more confident in their studies.

Life is busy for these students as they work hard on their studies during the day and learn new skills in the Boarding School in the evening. Some of these new skills such as food preparation and general chores will serve our Year 12 students well when they enter the next phase of the lives as tertiary students.

Life in the Boarding House can also be fun as the students have access to outside basketball facilities as well a number of indoor games. The facility also has a gym and a picture theatre. We look forward to our Year 12 students continuing to do well in all they are doing under what is some pretty unusual circumstances at the moment.
